NewRide terms of service

NewRide connects private sellers, dealerships, and buyers. It doesn't own, inspect, or warrant any vehicle, and it isn't a party to any sale or agreement you reach through it.

Keep your account credentials to yourself and use NewRide lawfully. You're responsible for what happens through your account.

Listings must be accurate, legal, and yours to sell. You're responsible for the vehicle details, photos, and price you publish, and for complying with any consumer-law duties that apply to you as a seller.

Information in listings comes from sellers (sometimes prefilled from vehicle records). Inspect the vehicle, check the registration, and verify ownership before paying anyone. NewRide offers tools to help, but the checks are yours.

No unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or spammy use — no scraping, no interfering with other users' listings or messages, no circumventing NewRide's fees.

You keep ownership of the content you publish (photos, descriptions, messages) and give NewRide the licence it needs to display and transmit it inside the marketplace. Content that's unlawful or breaches these terms may be removed.

Browsing, listing, and messaging are free for private sellers. Optional listing upgrades and dealer subscriptions are charged as displayed at purchase. Fees for marketplace features may change with notice.

The NewRide apps, website, and brand belong to their operators. These terms give you no licence to them beyond using NewRide as intended.

To the extent permitted by law, NewRide's operators aren't liable for losses arising from transactions between users — though nothing limits rights you have under New Zealand consumer law where it applies. Report problems (fraud, misuse, disputes) through the app's report tools or to hello@nextleveldevs.co.nz.

Accounts that breach these terms or put users at risk may be suspended or closed.

These terms may be updated from time to time; the date at the top shows the current version. They're governed by the laws of New Zealand.
